Early Falcon Car Club of Queensland

Welcome!

Welcome to the home page of the Early Falcon Car Club of Queensland Inc. The club was founded in 1986 in the car park at JC Slaughter falls, Mt Coo-tha and was an annual event on the clubs calendar until parking became an issue. Since then, the club has grown to 90+ members driving a range of vehicles. Membership to the club is open to anyone and typically attracts people who own or have an interest in early model Ford Falcons.

Club meetings are held on the last Tuesday of every month, starting at 7.00pm.
The venue for the club meetings is the Lord Stanley Hotel, 994 Stanley St East, East Brisbane, where members and those interested in joining the club meet from 6.00pm for dinner with the meeting following.

Club runs on 17th March 2024

Hi - the Early Falcon Car Club of Queensland has a planned club run to Colleges Crossing with a morning tea put on by Madonna Shelley and then onto the QLD Transport Museum at Gatton for Lunch

The QAFV8 club has invited the EFCCQ members to join them on a run from the Bundamba Servo to Toowoomba and then onto the Highfields Pioneer Village with a sausage lunch and entry to the Motor museum for $40

As discussed in the club meeting held on 27th February it was decided to put it to the club members whether they wanted to go to the original EFCCQ run or join the QAFV8 club run

please comment below which event you would like to attend

  • Comment by Jon Clayton on Friday, March 01, 2024: I am for going to the original EFCCQ event at Colleges Crossing

  • Comment by Graeme & Theresa on Saturday, March 02, 2024: Happy to stay with our club run to Gatton.

  • Comment by Peter Stanley on Sunday, March 03, 2024: Colleges crossing and Gatton

  • Comment by Sharyn and Al on Sunday, March 03, 2024: We love colleges crossing it brings back memories of old family days swinging on the ropes from the trees above the bull sharks. And sausages cooked on sticks around the fire. Looking forward to it.

  • Comment by Jack Shelley on Monday, March 04, 2024: I am happy to go on either run, however, if we get less than 10 cars to the EFCCQ event then we will scrap it. There is too much work for others to put on these events to have no one show up.

  • Comment by Noel & Mandy O'Driscoll on Monday, March 04, 2024: It’s morning tea for us. Madonna does a great morning tea & good company of our club members. We can always go to Kholo gardens if Colleges is closed. I have found for me personally that sometimes less members is more personal & you get to chat & interact with more of the members so might still be worth considering if only a few members attend.

  • Comment by Jon Clayton on Monday, March 04, 2024: I am with Noel, If we determine that Colleges Crossing is not accessible we should try for Kholo Gardens.
